The ROL User Patch project needs people, if you have modding and/or programming skills you can read the details here (a free DVD copy will be mailed to serious modders and programmers if they don't have the game) All the other current sites (except Steam) have limited discussions, some with time limits such as Reddit.
So the only proper forum for long-term serious discussion and projects is over at Heavengames and while it is an old site it is still functional and the only true "forum" available.
